Planet Base (Day 5)

This is the last time I will ever play this game. Throughout all the game plays that I have done so many things have gone wrong. Such as people keep dying from multiple reasons. Instead of doing what I have done before. I changed my approach to a more strategic way. I won't waste my materials on unnecessary buildings and objects. Stop the colonists from coming when there is to many people. Also trade a lot of food, try to make the trade as even as possible. Making sure that you gain more than giving less. I made sure to have solar plants and wind mills. To support the oxygen tank thing and water extractor. I soon linked all buildings together making it easy for people to travel. I shut down things when I'm not using it instead of letting it run and waste energy.

I also trapped the colonist inside when there was a sandstorm. I did a stupid move such as recycled the airlock while everyone was inside. It obviously resulted in their deaths. Just don't make the same mistakes as me. A control center is very nice it helps you hide from meteors and send them back. It signals the people to take cover. Create beds in the dorm so tires people can rest up. A biodome is a must have cause you need to have veggies to make meals. The meal maker, desks and a water fountain are very important for the colonists survival. they provide the food and water to everyone. A lab is used when making medicine for the medics to use while treating an injured person.

The mine has to be placed near a mountain base. It helps to gain materials to forge into new materials when a material maker is built. A storage place ins helpful, but really important compared to everything else. It preserves the materials so they last longer.

Finally, My opinion about this game is that it is a really stressful game for people that like to plan ahead. The reasons for that is you always have to think ahead and understand what impacts your decisions can affect the long run of the colony. You gain lots of stress, because there is a lot of thought to process. This game also makes you understand the responsibility of caring for others. Making sure that their lives continue. If you are not very organized then this game is totally not for you. From head to toe everything is involved with your ability to imagine the future, organize and keeping tabs on the economy.

Planet Base (Day Four)

Today when I was playing Planet Base. I tried to improve the life of my people by trading a lot and building helpful structures. My goal was to have everyone survive from hunger.Considering what happened last day. I also build a new power collector because I keep running out of energy at night. Meteors keep striking, one of my solar plant was hit. Soon all my solar plants needed repair along with my wind mills.

I decided to recycle the bar and star pad for more resources and the storage room. I traded a lot but new colonist wouldn't join so i had no one who could fix broken objects. Someone in the colony broke his bone, but without a medic there was nothing I could do. I started gaining a lot of resources. So hunger was no longer an issue yet my power plants won't work and power collectors don't work soon the people are thirsty and tired with no way of going inside during the night.
The people are slowly dying therefor I will try to start a new game. And hope they will live

Planet Base (Day Three)

I first build a oxygen tank. Then created solar plant, windmills, and water extractor. After these were finished then I made a restaurant with a drinking fountain and meal maker. So on I made airlocks so people could move around and travel. Some unfortunately died, but others soon came after. I also made a biodome for food and medicine. I choose fast producing plants than slow ones, and made a medicine patch. My goal was to help a lot of colonist survive. I only have one mile stone which is survival.
Some meteors have fallen and didn't hit anything from my base. I traded with other ships for equipment. A mine was built for materials near a mountain. I recycled the space ship that I came with.
I linked majority structures together. The people can be entertained by the television in the restaurant. They can then rest in the bunks and sleep their weariness away.So far things are ok. My power runs out quite frequently though at night.
I'll try to improve next time. And make my colony flourish in glory.

Planet Base (Day 2)

Today, was the first time I've played this game. The tutorial will answer all your questions. Your finished product should look like this.
Also always keep a close eye on the peoples status or else they will end up like this.
They will groan and moan in pain until they die. So make sure not to commit the same mistake as me and keep an eye on the supplies of oxygen, food and medicine. In the beginning of the tutorial you will have to use the camera by using the buttons WASD, and QE for rotating the view.

The top corners tell you how many supplies you have, and are the buttons to build the structures. Some helpful tips are the ALT button that shows exactly how much supplies you have and The + button that speeds up the process. You will also need to build others things such as beds and plants within the proper structure. The beginning ground is going to look like this.

Build solar plants and water extractor first then make others, because your population would die of aspiration, starvation or hunger. Also don't over work them or else the robots will get busted. You can also recycle buildings that you no longer want or need to gain more equipment. I made several buildings during the tutorial.(Image Below)

Here is all I have to tell you about the tutorial.

First Impressions

Hello!! My fellow followers welcome to this first impression review. The game that I'm going to look at today is called Planet Base.
This game is a strategy type of game for the intellects in the world. Shout out to those smarties! Anyways back to the topic, The game is personally not my favorite kind, but you guys might find it worth while. Basically the earth seems to be destroyed and people have to move to another planet in order to survive the crisis. The picture below are the choices. Each planets are dissimilar since the attributions are different. It gets harder and harder towards the end
Your main objective in the game is to build a strong colony on the plain ground for everyone to live in harmony. To get to your goal, you'll have to build a variety of  different buildings and recruit other people. Every person has their own job to support the community. For all this to work the player will have to create multiple structures such as water extractor, oxygen generator, solar plants and many more to ensure the survival rate of the people on the planet. You can also determine the size by using your mouse scroll. Making small ones are more efficient and uses less money. During the process many difficult challenges will also appear. Meteors might strike and sandstorms could occur.

Collect as many minerals and energy as you can. Then make sure to maintain a fairly good amount of food, and water or else your population would decrease.Keep a close look to the facilities info by clicking the building. As you progress many other options would open up to you, for example medics, robots, and others. Remember to connect the mixture of structures so the people can move around. There will be icons on the top of the screen and click on it to choose the facility to make then decide on a good location and click on it. Boom!!you've just made a structure that will begin your brilliance. Continue the good work. And this is the end of this review. Bye and see you guys next time.

Friday Posts

The week in Info-tech we finished the four day challenge (car builder) and made a Remembrance day card. For car builder we had to make a 2/4/6 seated cars that can go to 100mph on the first day. The second day was to make the slowest cars that contains 2/4/6 seats. The third day was to make fast cars with 4/6 seats that can travel up to 160mph and 177mph. The fourth day was to make the fastest 2 seated ever that runs at the speed at 192mph. For the Remembrance day card we had to make a collage of the first page. Therefore we searched for many WW2 black and white pictures. The second and third pages were massages for Remembrance day. The last page was a made up post card from a soldier as if we were in the army.
